When I stood on the edge of the water, a wooden boat approached. It was a passenger ferry and the passengers occupied the seats. I saw another passenger ferry just before. The small passenger ferries seemed to cross the river all the time because there was no bridge spanned over this river, which was one of the subsidiary streams of the Yangon river. This kind of small boat was the only way to cross the river for the local people. However, I didn't know whether all the destinations were the same or not. Perhaps, the boats connected between this wharf and some other wharves on the opposite side of the river.
Most of the passengers wore a hat. And one of them wore a helmet. Yet no motorbike was seen on this small boat. Maybe he left his vehicle on the hither side.
