Man Sharpening A Knife

Man sharpening knife

The man sharpened a knife before cutting a rockfish

Shot at the market in Mae Klong, Thailand.

Although the train came and people had to move away from the railroad in a little while, the staffs worked as usual and the shoppers browsed as usual. The man in this photo kept working in a fishmonger. A round tray was placed in front of him and a chopping board was seen inside. A fish was laid down on the board. Because it had some barbels, it might be a catfish. It prepared to meet its fate. It didn't move an inch.

The fishmonger was about to cut the fish. A knife was in his right hand and a sharpening stone was in his left hand. And he started to sharpen his knife with a clattering sound. The movement was fast. He was young. Yet he was a skillful fishmonger already. A fan also worked fast and furious behind him.
