A large reclining Buddha lies in the hall of Wat Pho in Bangkok, and visitors can walk around it. The Reclining Buddha is seen by visitors walking around the statue, who look at every part of his body. They look at his back and even the soles of his feet. But the Reclining Buddha remains motionless. He just lies there quietly. He must be used to being watched for a long time.
Along the wall of the temple, there were several jars. I did not count them properly, but there seemed to be 108. That's the number of earthly desires. It is said that if you put coins in these jars, you will not be bothered by earthly desires. Many visitors to the temple put coins in the jar. The woman in the photo was one of them.
In a perverse way, if putting coins in the jar would eliminate the afflictions, jealousy and envy would disappear in the blink of an eye, and even the words "jealousy" and "envy" would disappear. Personally, I have the impression that the priest here is doing well. After all, he is able to secure an income other than the entrance fee.
