The reclining Buddha statue was stationed in the center of the hall of Wat Pho in Bangkok. And the worshippers could go around the statue. The statue was watched by the worshippers in every hole and corner. Yet the Buddha was not perturbed. It kept lying down silently. It could be accustomed to being watched.
Many jars were placed against the wall in the hall. There were 108 jars. It is believed that human beings have 108 earthly desires in Buddhism. And it is also believed that it was possible to purify the spirit of evil thought by putting changes into these jars. So many worshippers did that there. The woman in this photo was one of them.
Saying twisted things, I thought the Buddhist monks in this temple did the right thing. They could receive the money far more than the tickets.
