The hall was not crowded. Yet the worshipers kept coming. So the small hall didn't become empty. Every worshiper prayed seriously in the silent hall. The woman in this photo was also praying with her hands close together. It was believed that the city god enshrined here could make the wishes come true. The Lak Mueang was popular for the local people.
When you think about it carefully, you find out an interesting fact. The city god was not one of the deities in Buddhism. Nevertheless, the god was widely practiced by the local Buddhist. I thought they didn't care about that if their prayers were answered.
