Shot at Wat Pho, a Buddhist temple in Bangkok, Thailand.
It is not so long walk from the Grand Palace to Wat Pho. Meandering steps took me to the temple. It was the first time to visit this temple in 19 years. Yet I didn't remember about this temple. The only thing I remember was that a huge Reclining Buddha was housed in the main hall and I thought the Buddha statue might feel straitjacketed when I saw it.
Buying a ticket, I entered the main hall in a hurry. The huge golden Buddha statue was reclining under the roof as same as 19 years ago. It is difficult to say whether the building is too small or the statue is too big. Anyway, the statue seems cramped just as before. It stretched out in the hall. And it was possible to see its bottom of the foot. It was glittering.
