It was rare to see a dog during walking in a residential area in Jakarta. What came into my sight was not a dog, but a cat when I was walking alone.
At first, I thought there was only one cat sitting on the side of the street, but that was not the case. Looking closer, I noticed one cat in the foreground, and then another one behind it. As far as I could tell four cats were lounging around here. Jakarta seems to be a city that really likes cats.
This nondescript roadside area seems to be a cat hangout. By any chance, there might be a person who leaves food for cats here.
By the way, don't cats have a sense of territory like dogs do? Even though there were so many cats gathered here, there was no sign of a fight. There was just an air of tranquility in the air.
Looking closer, the two cats in the front don't seem very interested in my sudden appearance. In contrast, the two cats at the back seemed to be watching me from afar.
