I was walking down Hayam Wuruk Street in Jakarta. This is a wide street, where there is also a bus lane. And many large buildings are built along the street. No matter how many food stalls there are in Jakarta like in Bangkok and other Southeast Asian cities, you would think that there are no food stalls in such a neat and tidy place, but you would be wrong. There were also many food stalls on this wide street. The place where I took this photo was the same. There were a number of motorbikes parked on the farthest side of the roadway and stalls on the outside. It was a covered area, which would have been a good place to set up tables and chairs.
A few customers were sitting at the table, eating their meals. Everyone was eating in a peaceful atmosphere. The ennui atmosphere was well suited for the hot tropical climate country. However, most of them seemed to be the drivers of Grab and Gojek because there were a number of motorcycles parked here. They were waiting for their orders to come in while making small talk at the stall.
