I was walking down a residential street. It was a wide street, but there was no way to get out of the street, and there were almost no cars coming and going. Local people were spending their time on the street in their own way. It was a place of relaxation for the locals. Children were playing here and there, and adults were making small talk here and there. Enjoying the local atmosphere, I walked toward the back of the street, with the people relaxing by my side.
As I was doing so, I noticed a white plastic chair on the side of the road. A mother was sitting cross-legged on the chair, gazing blankly toward the far end of the street. A young girl was leaning against the side of the chair. The girl was leaning against her mother, not looking at her, but rather gazing somewhere upward. I don't know what she is looking at, but she seems to be enjoying herself. This parent and child, like the others, were immersed in a long, quiet life.
