The TERRADA ART COMPLEX is located near the Tennozu Canal, and as the name suggests, it houses a number of galleries. It is a complex of galleries in a renovated former warehouse building. Each of the two buildings has a gallery on each floor, so you can visit several galleries just by coming here and feel like you're getting the most out of your visit.
To get between the high-ceilinged floors, you have to take a freight elevator that used to be used to move goods in and out of the warehouse. The large freight elevator moves slowly, as if to say that you need to have a relaxed mind to see the art.
The large doors of the elevator opened and I stepped out to see the gallery beyond the inorganic common space. But what caught my attention was the single chair placed in front of it. I couldn't decide if it was comfortable to sit on or not, it had a unique and sharp shape. I wondered if it might be a work of art and belonged to a gallery. It could be an installation, or it could be something very expensive. Either way, the chair stood there in the shared space like a trap.
Later, I found out that it was a chair called "Chair_ONE" designed by Konstantin Grcic, a German industrial designer, and not a work of art.
