There was a food stall on the side of the road. This was near the depot of a shared-ride bus service called songthaew, which was crowded with many people. Songthaew buses departing from and arriving at this station seem to connect Bangkok with the surrounding rural areas. I did not know which direction the songthaew was heading, but it was a good place for food and drink businesses, as many people were carrying large bags. Many people will want to get hungry before they travel long distances.
The woman in the photo was running a food stall in such a place. She looks interested as I wander around with my camera in hand. From the looks of it, not many foreign tourists visit here. I noticed the woman's gaze and decided to point my camera at her to meet her gaze. The woman responded cheerfully as I held up my camera. However, she seemed a little shy and picked up the foodstuff in front of her as if to hide her embarrassment. She smiled as she lifted the cabbage and chives and captured them in the frame.
