Leaving the famous Chinese Buddhist temple, I started to ramble about the streets again. The street where I walked was located in Chinatown. Yet the atmosphere was different from the Yaowarat Road, which was the busiest street in Chinatown. It was modest. Of course, it was flanked by many shops. However, the number of the shoppers was low. Most of the shops were selling Chinese foodstuffs. So the articles for sale might be not for tourists.
A shop I passed by also sold Chinese foodstuffs. Many bags filled with dried Chinese mushrooms were displayed in the storefront. And a staff was standing beside them. She was just calling. Maybe she just got orders of them.
