I was walking back and forth between the two markets that stand across Bogyoke Aung San Road. At this time, I was walking through the old Bogyoke Aung San Market, which is larger than the New Bogyoke Market. This market is larger than the New Bogyoke Market. As I wandered around the large market, I noticed a cafeteria in one corner. Surprisingly, the cafeteria, located in a market full of souvenir shops for tourists, was crowded with locals, and no foreign tourists were to be found. Perhaps the foreign tourists eat their meals in more fashionable restaurants.
Although a cafeteria is a common sight in markets, I was a bit surprised to find a cafeteria in a tourist market. Intrigued, I stopped in the middle of the stairs to watch the people eating. As I was doing so, a young man working in the dining hall noticed me. When I acknowledged his camera, he happily gave me a thumbs up.
