Shot in the city of Yangon, Myanmar.
The street market was bustling. Because there were many street vendors along with many shoppers in the narrow street, the street vendors did business while draping all over each other. The place was tightly packed and I felt the spark of local life during walking around. Some vendors were leather-lunged. Yet not all the vendors worked in a cheerful way. There were also some people selling calmly.
The man in this photo was the latter. Although many shoppers passed by him, he just sat in a musing mood. Even so, his business might make enough money. He waited for customers coming without saying a word. Even though I stood just in front of him, he kept looking into the distance as if he sat in the quiet place somewhere else.
