Like Taipei, Tainan has a lot of motorcycles running around. As I made my way through the motorcycles to the center of town, the streets were wide and lined with restaurants. A motorcycle was parked in front of a restaurant. The restaurant's sign read "滷味." The word "滷味" is not so common in Japan, and is said to mean stewed food.
Along with the restaurants, there were a few stylish cafes here and there. Although this is a part of Chinese culture where people drink tea, it seems that people are becoming more familiar with coffee as well. This was a bit surprising. Taiwan has a rich tea culture, and many Japanese people come here to enjoy it.
