While walking down the main street, I suddenly found the entrance to a side street. It was a narrow alley, too narrow for a car to enter. Without giving it much thought, I stepped into the alley. It was as if I had been drawn in by the quiet atmosphere. Few people were walking down the alley, and I felt as if I were walking through a three-dimensional maze that had been made in real life. This kind of mysterious atmosphere is exactly my kind of place.
Old houses lined both sides of the street, all of them quiet. Silence reigned in this alley where the sounds of life were barely audible. I was just going down the alley, not knowing where I was going. Then, at the end of the alley, I saw a scooter cross the street. The scooter drove away in an instant as if nothing had happened, and only silence remained again.
