I was walking through a residential area. There was a calm atmosphere in the surrounding area. Low-rise buildings lined the street, giving it a lived-in feel. There were no fancy decorations or trendy stores, and the area had no connection to tourist attractions. It is very enjoyable to walk around such a place where the locals live peacefully. If you look carefully from the main street, you can see narrow alleys and passages hidden between houses.
It is impossible to tell from the outside where these passages lead or if they are passable. Whenever I encounter such a passageway, I always wonder whether I should enter or not. This time was no exception. I stopped in front of the passageway and stared at the back of it. I wondered if I could pass through or if it was just a dead end, but no answer came to me.
After watching for a while, a figure appeared at the end of the alley. It was a man. At that moment, I was convinced that this passageway led somewhere. But where the man came from, or where he was going, remained a mystery. The passage became more and more intriguing to me, making my walk in the quiet residential area even more enjoyable.
