Roof Of A Buddhist Temple

Roof of Buddhist temple

The roofs were layered

Shot at a Buddhist temple in Luang Prabang, Laos.

The main hall of the temple had layers of roofs and the top of them was sharpened. And their lateral sides were decorated sophisticatedly. The kind of roof seemed to be common here.

Although there are also many Buddhist temple in my home country, it was different from the Japanese style even when the religion was same. The simpleness might be favored by the Japanese culture. I wondered which was better to feel the prayer answered, the floridness or the simpleness.
