There were many Buddhist temples in the heart of the city. The architecture in this photo was one of them called Wat Mai. It is said that this temple is the most richly decorated of the temples in this town. Yet the structure was different from the Buddhist temple in Japan.
The shadows fell down on its layered wide roof. And some benches were placed in front of it. A little boy was sitting on the edge of the bench alone.
