Red Umbrella On The Roof

Red umbrella on roof

A red umbrella was seen on the roof

Shot in the city of Bangkok, Thailand.

Taking a subway from Hua Lamphong Station, I came to the Khlong Toei station. The subway was one of four subways in Southeast Asian countries. It was 2004 when this subway opened business. So it was relatively new.

The station was the nearest station to Khlong Toei market and I wanted to visit the market. Although the name was same, the station was not so close to the market. It took about 10 minutes on foot. When I walked on a pedestrian bridge to cross the wide street, I could see the roof of the market. The zinc roofing stretched. And I found a red umbrella was on the roof. I wondered why the umbrella was there. Perhaps, Mary Poppins dropped it.
