It was raining heavily, so I took shelter from the rain in a storefront in Chatuchak Market. The rain showed no sign of stopping. Knowing that there was a shopping mall right next to the market, I was looking for an opportunity to move there. It would be much more comfortable to move to the shopping mall than to shelter from the rain under the eaves of the stores. I thought so and moved to the shopping mall as soon as it started to drizzle.
The mall, JJ Mall, was as big as I expected and a good place to take shelter from the rain. It was so comfortable that it didn't matter how much it was raining outside. However, I don't understand the idea of building a big shopping mall right next to the huge Chatuchak Market. Perhaps it was an anticipation of synergistic effects.
There are still some empty stores in the relatively new shopping mall. But it was enough for me who came here to take shelter from the rain. I went to the food court on the upper floor and took a seat. There were a number of stores, and many people were there. I looked around and saw silhouettes of people, and out the window I could see the roofs of the stores lining Chatuchak Market.
