Walking around the Royal Palace area in Bangkok, I often saw people dressed in mourning clothes. They were all in mourning for the former king who passed away in 2016. Seeing so many people in mourning, it was clear how much the former king was loved by his people.
A group of people were sitting under a temporary tent placed on the sidewalk. They were all dressed in mourning clothes, so these people must have been visiting the royal palace to offer their condolences. Rather than taking a short rest, the group was completely relaxed. It was as if they were having a picnic there. One of the group was silently chewing a banana.
