Eating place in a narrow lane — Shot at Pom Prap Sattru Phai District in Bangkok, Thailand

I walked through the buildings, passing between them. Even though Bangkok is a tourist city, there are no tourist attractions in Pom Prap Sattru Phai District. It was just the locals quietly going about their daily lives. As I was walking through the area, I saw a crowd of people at the end of a narrow passage stretching between buildings. They were all standing there, looking in the same direction. I was curious about what was going on, so I approached the place.

It was a small eating place in the corner of a densely populated residential area. A woman was hard at work shaking a pot in front of people's eyes. Tables were placed in a narrow space around the kitchen, and many chairs were out. Some people were eating at the tables, while others were sitting on the chairs waiting for the food to be served. It seems that you can eat here or take out.

Despite the lack of signage and the fact that the eating place was set up in a way that only people in the know would know about, it was crowded. I've seen many eating places in residential areas that are used by locals, but I've never seen one as crowded as this one. It must be well-loved by the locals.

From the crowdedness, I naturally imagined that this eating place was delicious. Unfortunately, I wasn't very hungry at that time. After taking a few pictures, I left without eating anything.
