People Peering Down

People peering down

Some people peered down in the lane

Shot in the city of Bangkok, Thailand.

Walking through the shopping street, the lane changed the picture. Although there were still shops, they were wholesale stores. Among the closed stores, a shop was open. And a motorbike was parked in front of it.

Because some big bags were loaded, it might be about to deliver them. Yet things never work out as they expect. Its engine seemed not to work for a change. So people gathered around the motorbike. And they peered down altogether. Learning by mistake, they couldn't start its engine. They were absorbed in repairing. And they didn't notice me standing just near them.

Looking closer, I found a little girl among them. She also peered down like adults. I knew how she felt. However, There was nothing she could do. The only thing she could do was to peer down with worry.
