During walking around the central Yangon, I found a Buddhist temple. It faced the wide busy street. And it was built in the concrete building. So I didn't notice that there was a Buddhist temple until I came to its facade. The sidewalk in front of the temple was busy. Yet the inside of it seemed calm. So I went inside.
Many Buddha statues were enshrined at the back of the hall. All of them were kept under the glass. And the donation boxes were placed in front of every statue. Although the hall was a religious place, no one prayed at that time. The local people in this hall sat on the ground and turned their back on the Buddhist statues. They were just lazy and relax there. One boy picked his nose. Nevertheless, the golden Buddhist statues kept treating them with gentle patience in the situation.
