Children walking home from school in an alleyway between old brick buildings in the old town of Bhaktapur
I was walking through the old town of Bhaktapur, lined with brick buildings. It seemed to be the time for leaving school, and schoolchildren with backpacks on their backs were running along the cobblestone alleys. A souvenir shop lined the edge, and a woman in a saree was sitting in front it, idly watching the traffic.
The only people passing through this alley were locals. I was the only tourist. However, I did not intend to shop at the souvenir shop either. That was probably one of the reasons. The woman at the souvenir shop looked bored because of the lack of customers.
