I was walking to my hotel. This was the last day of my stay in Yangon. When I returned to the hotel, I checked out and headed to the airport to say goodbye to Myanmar. My short trip was coming to an end. I walked around, trying not to miss anything that came into my sight. Unlike me, this day was no different for the locals. Street vendors lined the side of the road, and cars were driving around on the roadway.
After a while, I saw a girl squatting on the street. She was sitting on the side of the road, but she was not doing business there. She had a notebook and pencil in her hand and was studying there. She was wearing her school uniform, so she was probably reviewing what she had learned today right after school. When I pointed the camera at the girl, I got a sharp look from her, as if she was telling me not to interrupt her studies.
