Elephants By The Roadside

Elephants by roadside

The ornaments were placed in front of a souvenir shop

Shot in the city of Kathmandu, Nepal.

Two metallic elephants were stationed in front of a souvenir shop. They were lifting their noses together. One of the popular deities in Hinduism was Ganesha and it was believed that Ganesha had the head of an elephant. So they might be representative of Ganesha.
