Shot at Sule Pagoda, a Buddhist temple in Yangon, Myanmar.
This temple is as popular as Shwe Dagon Pagoda which is the most famous tourist attraction in Yangon. So many worshipers came here to pray. And some suspicious persons also worked in the precinct. As soon as I entered the precinct, a stranger came to me and talked to me. He started to explain about this temple suddenly. He was a nasty guide. However, he was not high-pressure. I refused his offer and started to walk alone.
In the center of the precinct, a tall golden pagoda towered. I made a clockwise turn around it. Some altars were placed in spots. And a man stood in front of one of the altars. He made an offering to the altar. Looking closer, the day of the week was written on the board. It is said that the locals give importance to the day of the week. And the altar in this photo was dedicated to the people who were born on Saturday.
