Taking off my shoes, I entered into the hall of Wat Suthat. The inside was wrapped with the silence. And the big Buddha statue was stationed at the back of the hall. It was gold and shining in the dimness.
The wall was covered with the wall painting. All windows were open. And the wind blew in. It made the hall cool. I felt it was an oasis in the hotness. It was a perfect place to take a rest. I sat on the ground and cooled off while I faced up to the statue.
