The man wearing a cap was wandering around the gate of the temple. He carried a big tray on which many flowers were. These flowers were used as an offering. Because he looked grim, he couldn't sell his goods to his satisfaction.
It might be also common to offer flowers to the deities in this country. The deities in all over the world could like the bonny things. Yet I think the world is much more beautiful if it is true.
