Shot at Kotoku-in, a Buddhist temple in Kamakura, Kanagawa.

There was a monumental outdoor bronze statue of Amitābha Buddha in the temple. It was sitting under the sky whatever the weather while it was make a ritual gesture called Mudra with both hands.
