Paper Fortunes And A Hand

paper fortunes and a hand
Shot at Tsurugaoka Hachiman-Gu, a Shinto shrine in Kamakura, Kanagawa tetsuOzawa

Many paper fortunes were bound on the poles

This shrine was the most important Shinto shrine during the Kamakura Period. And it is one of the major tourist attractions in the present age.

When I came to the prayer hall, it was crowded with worshipers. Beside the hall, there were some objects on which the paper fortunes were bound. Because it was before noon, not so many paper fortunes were bound there. And a man was juts binding his opened paper fortune on the wire.
