A small building stood in a corner of the grounds of Hasedera in Kamakura. Inside, there was a large wheeled warehouse. This Tenrinzo is a stack of books inside that contains the Great Sutra, which can be rotated along a central axis.
As I looked at it, a high school boy and girl appeared, and they were having a good time spinning the big-wheeled warehouse with their cackles and whistles. The tumble chamber was spinning faster than I expected. Although it is said that the wheeled warehouse also serves as a stack of books, it must be extremely difficult to select the desired scripture if it is spinning so quickly.
As I watched the chamber spinning, it occurred to me. If a minimalist could remake the wheeled warehouse, it could become the prayer wheel that Tibetan Buddhists have.
