The precinct of this Zen Buddhist temple was vast and some other small temples were in it. There were 12 temples which were dedicated to the Buddhist saint in the precinct.
When I walked around the precinct, I came to this gentle stairway. A small gate was seen on the top of the staircase. The gate belonged to one of the small temples called 'SHOTO-IN'. It was dedicated to KOHOKENNICHI who was the son of the Gosaga Emperor.
