The alleyway where I wander into was dim

I was walking around Chinatown aimlessly. I didn't walk on a shopping hunt nor look for any restaurants. I just soaked in the atmosphere. The streets were not complexed. Yet I lost my sense of direction soon.

Meanwhile, I came to an alleyway. It was flanked by stores. And the roof was built above the lane. I thought the roof was built for the customers to easy to walk even on the rainy days. However, most of the stores on both sides of the lane were shuttered. And no customers were walking. The lane was dim and deserted.

This lane might be busy once. Thinking about such a thing, I walked the lane. I found some people in the dimness. And a man pushing a cart overtook me in a hurried pace during walking. A little bustling came to this dim lane.
