A small shrine stood quietly amidst a residential area. The area is a quiet residential neighborhood, and the shrine grounds are also surrounded by silence. When I stepped into the shrine grounds, there was no one to be seen. It was deserted, as if people had forgotten about it.
A pair of guardian dogs stood quietly in front of the shrine. The winter season had taken the color from the trees in the shrine grounds, giving it a lonely atmosphere. I stood there for a while, but there was no sign of worshippers coming to the shrine. It seemed to me that the gods must be having a peaceful and relaxing time in this place, which is not as noisy as other famous shrines.
