It seemed that many weddings were being held at Chinzan-so on that day, and the inside of the building was crowded with gorgeous people. People dressed in formal attire could be seen here and there, all of whom were probably there to attend one of the weddings. As I walked around the pavilion, I saw a few brides and grooms dressed in wedding kimonos. The entire building was filled with a cheerful atmosphere celebrating a new beginning, and everywhere I looked, I saw smiling faces.
Amidst all this, I had only stopped by casually on my way for a walk. I was wearing my everyday clothes, not the kind of attire one would wear to a wedding. I felt strangely uncomfortable because I was obviously the only one who looked out of place among the people dressed in formal attire.
The three men in the photo had probably come to attend the wedding. They were standing by the window, talking and occasionally laughing. Their joyful appearance added to the warm atmosphere of this special day.
