Cat Taking On A Piercing Look

Cat casting sharp glance

The cat was lazy and relax alone

Shot at Chinzan-so in Sekiguchi, Tokyo.

Came to the hotel called Chinzan-so. I didn't plan to stay at this gorgeous hotel. There is a beautiful Japanese garden belonged to the hotel and I came here to take a walk.

The garden is built on a slope. The stream flowed and some small buildings stood in the woods. This site was a part of a mansion of a feudal lord and purchased by Arimoto Yamagata who was twice Prime Minister of Japan in 1878. He had gardening as his hobby. And the basic design was made by him. Time passed. And it is a garden belonged to the high-class hotel.

Many visitors took a walk in a leisurely way. Coming to the edge of the garden, I met a cat. It was cautious. And it started to cast a sharp glance at me when I held my camera. Its fur was not well-trimmed. So it might be a stray cat.
