The man was crouching by the roadside. He was a fishmonger. A long blade was placed in front of him and he used his foot to hold on. And he was just cutting a fish with it. What he used to cut was a stationary type knife.
He stopped moving and cast an eye on me when I approached him and held my camera. The kind of knife was much more popular than knives here. Not only fishmongers but also butchers and cooks use this type of knife. Yet I have never seen such a knife outside of India.
