Ginza-dori was crowded. Many people were here to enjoy shopping. As usual, there were many people who appeared to be tourists from China. Among them, there was a man who was obviously not here to shop. He was a mendicant monk wearing a robes, holding a bell in his right hand and a begging bowl in his left. He is wearing a braided hat, so we cannot see his face, but he may be chanting sutras.
Although his kesa outfit was very conspicuous, few people paid attention to the monk begging for alms in the center of Ginza. Only a boy walked past, staring at the monk with curious eyes.
