Monks Walking For The Morning Alms In Luang Prabang

Buddhist monks walking dim street to ask fro alms

Many Buddhist monks walked the dim street to ask for alms

Shot in the city of Luang Prabang, Laos.

When I stopped by the roadside, one group of Buddhist monks wearing an orange robe called Kasaya came from over there. Every monk carried their own alms bowl in their hands. They were walking for the morning alms, which is one of the highlights of Luang Prabang.

They were moving in the morning fog. And they were walking side by side and asking for morning alms. And people sitting by the roadside made an offering to them. It was the daily task for the Buddhist monks in this city.
