Long Corridor Beside Suikeien

Couple at end of corridor

A couple stood at the end of the corridor

Shot at Shibamata Taishakuten, a Buddhist temple in Shibamata, Tokyo.

The long corridor was covered with tatami. And I found a couple standing together at the end of it when I entered. They were watching Suikeien, the Japanese-style garden spreading outside of the windows.

In Japan, Buddhist temple involves garden. It is not just made as a hobby of the owner. It is made to express the inner psychological world. So it is usually difficult to catch on when I see the garden. What I can feel was often just beautiful.
