While walking around, I found a Chinese temple. It is a Taoist shrine called Chao Pho Suea Shrine. As there are many overseas Chinese in Bangkok, they must have brought with them the deities they used to worship when they immigrated from China. Although it was prohibited to take pictures inside the typical Chinese temple, it was crowded with many worshippers. The god who came a long way seems to be widely worshipped here as well.
There was a store selling offerings next to the temple. A woman wearing an apron sat at the counter. Compared to the number of worshippers, not many people seemed to be buying offerings here. The woman at the store seemed to be bored. The woman, who was cooling off in the breeze from a fan, was watching the traffic with a dazed expression on her face.
