Shot at Phra Nakhon District in Bangkok, Thailand
During walking around, I found a small Chinese temple. It was Chao Pho Suea Shrine, a Taoist shrine. Many Chinese residents were living in Bangkok and they also brought their deities from their home provinces. Because the shrine was crowded, it seemed to be believed by many locals.
Next to the shrine, there was a shop selling offerings. And a woman wearing an apron was sitting at the counter. By contrast to the number of the worshipers, the number of the people who bought the offerings in this shop might be few. The woman seemed to have nothing to do. And she was watching the traffic without paying attention. A fan was spinning silent behind her.
