The man in this photo was working in a studio built along a canal called Khlong Saen Saep. He stripped to the waist while working. On his chest, a Phra Kruang, an amulet, was seen. I saw many Phra Kruang being sold during walking around the streets. Yet it was the first time to see a local person wearing the amulet in a direct fashion.
The man had a hammer in his hand and hit an arch-shaped metal board. It was a part of an alms bowl. This studio was an alms bowl factory. What he did seemed to be in an upper process. The metal board didn't take form yet. If I didn't know, it was difficult to know what he was making.
