Walked the wide street in Yangon. Many cars were parked on the edge of it. And there was a big building along the street. It was Yangon general hospital. Many people were seen on the site and the building was bustling. Although I thought it was not a good thing, many patients seemed to come here. And I could see many street vendors near the hospital. Where many people gathered was a nice place to do business as affairs stood.
The woman in this photo also opened her stall near the gate. She sold Kun, a preparation combining betel leaf with areca nut, there. I didn't know whether the tasty thing was acceptable to the patients or not. Anyway, many people who came to the hospital wanted to buy. It is said that the betel nut is addictive. So it might be hard to stop chewing. A bucket was placed on the table. And it was filled with white liquid. It was calcic water and was put on the betel leaf which she sold as Kun.
