Some people were relaxing in the shade in a corner of the platform of the station. Watching them, not all of them were waiting for the train there. Some of them seemed to come here to just relax. The woman in the photo was one of them.
This city was too hot to come to life in the daytime. And I thought most of the locals withstood it by hanging out in the shade. The Thanaka was painted on her face and I could see the brush stroke. She smiled cheerfully when I focused on her.
