I was wandering around the New Bogyoke Market in Yangon. Unlike Junction City, where many foreign brand stores are located in the same building, the New Bogyoke Market has a local atmosphere.
The only thing that is the same is the rows of stores, but the atmosphere is completely different. Here, the stores are lined up on the floor like a diorama. The atmosphere was similar to other markets I have visited in Yangon. Perhaps people in Yangon have the perception that markets are small blocks of stores lined up in a row. Unlike the workers in Junction City, the people in this market seemed to be busy.
In the meantime, I came across a boy sitting on a chair in the aisle of the market. The boy was dressed in pajamas and seemed to be floating in the busy market. As I approached, the boy seemed interested in me and my camera, and looked into the lens with a mischievous expression on his face.
