Casting skeptical gazes at the Tokyo Skytree, I entered a precinct of a Shinto shrine. The precinct of this shrine was deserted and silent. However, I could see some foreign travelers there. Although it is said that it has a long history, it was an unostentatious Shinto shrine. Because the Japanese government is focusing on the attraction of foreign tourists recently, this quiet Shinto shrine might be also becoming a tourist attraction. Anyway, I think it is better to visit minor shrines and temples to feel the silence. It could be difficult in the crowd.
I stood in front of a wooden hall in the precinct. In the meantime, a Shinto priestess appeared. She walked toward the hall and opened the sliding door. And she vanished into the building.
