Shadows On Crosswalk

Wheelchair crossing crosswalk

A wheelchair crossed the crosswalk

Shot in the city of Nakano, Tokyo.

After a long time, I came to Nakano. The shopping street in front of the station was busy same as before. Many people came and went. There is Nakano Broadway which is called a sanctuary of the subculture at the back of the street. However, it doesn't mean all the pedestrians are young. Many locals use this commercial avenue.

Coming to the station, I found a pedestrian deck. I climbed up and watched the traffic from above. Some white lines of a crosswalk were seen below my eyes. When the traffic light turned green, the pedestrians started to walk on the lines. Because the sun was strong, their thick shadows fell down on the road clearly. The shadows of the wheelchair in this photo also fell down as if they were shadow pictures.
