The Shinto priests, the bride and groom, and the attendants were lined up as they came out of the waiting room. They will now go to the hall of worship to be married. Above the bride and groom was a large parasol. After a while, everyone started walking, with the priest in the lead.
No matter how large the grounds of Meiji Jingu Shrine are, it is not far from the anteroom building to the temple. One might think that it would be fine to meet directly at the temple, but it is not that simple. This would not satisfy the bride and groom's desire to show off their formal attire, as they would not be able to perform the most suitable ceremony to create a solemn atmosphere.
